Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town in South Africa on 2 December 1981. She is a model and actress who is well known for her appearances in TV and film. Brandt has made her American debut in Spartacus: Blood and Sand which is a drama set in the past. She began her acting career as a New Zealander on Diplomatic Immunity. In the last decade the actress has appeared in a ton of TV shows which include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Since 2016, Brandt has been taking on the character of Mazikeen in the series about urban fantasies Lucifer which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family during her teenage years. She began her career in the field of modeling by appearing in commercials and print ads. She worked in sales, as well as being a consultant on information technology before becoming famous for her work as a model. In 2009, she secured her debut role as Leilani on the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. In 2021, she was in Spartacus Blood and Sand as the slave girl Naevia. She has as well reprised her Naevia role in the mini-series that prequels Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker co-starred in three TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (1010) and Legend of the Seeker 2008 with her. She was cast as Mazikeen the demon that hunts for bounty in Netflix's hit show Lucifer. The role is her most prominent up to now. The show is paired with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
